Bridport Hat Festival is a unique celebratory weekend being held for the benefit of the town as well as attracting visitors from far and wide.
This event really seems to have sparked the imaginations of everyone from children to adults and it has been heartening to see how enthusiastically the spirit of the festival is being embraced by both the local community and the Hatting industry. A wide group of people are already giving their support, time, ideas and expertise in a variety of ways to get the ‘behind -the-scenes’ work done.
A good start has also been made with funds having been donated by both private individuals and businesses.
The publicity for Bridport Hat Festival so far is generating a huge amount of positive interest in both the event and the town.
