‘Haturday’ 4th Sept 2021
The weather was excellent and the Millennium Green was very well attended by a most appreciative crowd who were entertained by local musicians organised by the Folk Festivals director Chris Deacon. £700 was raised by volunteers with collection buckets, £90 was donated by Bridport Soul Club and £30 was donated by Bridport Honky Tonk Stompers. All monies were forwarded to our supported charities of Brain Tumour Research and The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust. Brit Valley Rotary Club, as well as providing excellent teas, cakes etc. raised over £500 for charity. The Hat Festival would like to thank all those who donated and all the volunteers who made this possible. Further thanks are extended to Bridport Town Council who have been, as ever, very supportive. Thanks are also due to Jurassic Fields for running the bar, and Bridport Banners who kindly donated the banners displayed in East and West Street.
