This year’s Hat Festival was another great day with possibly the best attendance ever. The good folk of Bridport turned out en masse, bedecked in their latest festival headwear – ranging from the artistic and inventive to the weird and zany!
Katy Mackenzie from The HAT Magazine said:
“What a great Festival, so well organised and on many levels a really superb event. I was so impressed at the organisation and how important the event was on different levels, from the local children taking part and making their own headwear, to professional milliners competing in a prestigious competition.
Lottie from the View From Bridport shot this short video of the mass photo – you may hear some of the behind the scenes instructions on the radio coms system, to try and get the crowd to wave for the BBC!
